By accessing or using the Cyprus Motors & Marine website, you agree to these Terms of Use and our related policies, including the Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy. If you do not agree, you should not use the platform.
What the platform is
CMM is a content-first marketplace and lead-generation platform focused on cars, leasing and marine inventory in Cyprus. We publish listings, editorial content, market-intelligence content, deal alerts, watchlists, enquiry flows and concierge-style search support.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, CMM is not a party to the final sale, lease, finance, charter, brokerage or ownership transfer. Those arrangements are made directly between the user and the relevant dealer, leasing company, marine broker, owner, service provider or other third party.
Eligibility and account responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account, setting alerts, or submitting enquiries.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign-in credentials and for activity under your account.
- You must not impersonate another person, submit false leads, or use the platform for unlawful, misleading or abusive activity.
Listings, editorial content and market information
We aim to present useful, current and well-structured information. Even so, listings, specifications, editorial content, market ranges, prices, availability and partner information may contain errors, omissions, delays or outdated details.
- Vehicle and marine descriptions are provided for general information and discovery.
- Market Pulse, reviews and guides are editorial products, not legal, tax, financing or marine-survey advice.
- You are responsible for verifying condition, title, registration, insurance, taxation, compliance and suitability before committing to a transaction.
Enquiries, concierge searches and partner introductions
When you submit an enquiry or use concierge features, you authorise us to route the request to one or more relevant partners or specialists. We do not guarantee acceptance of an enquiry, response times, availability, pricing or transaction outcome.
Partners remain responsible for their own responses, offers, representations, contract terms, compliance, invoicing and post-sale obligations.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory or abusive purposes.
- Scrape, copy, mirror or reuse content in a way that violates applicable law, intellectual-property rights or robots/access controls.
- Interfere with platform security, rate limits, access controls or monitoring systems.
- Upload malware, spam, deceptive content, or false partner or buyer information.
Intellectual property
The CMM brand, site design, editorial content, original copy, graphics, data presentation and other proprietary materials belong to Cyprus Motors & Marine or its licensors unless otherwise stated. You may use the website for personal or internal business evaluation purposes, but not reproduce or redistribute protected content without permission.

The platform may link to third-party sites, tools or partner pages. We are not responsible for third-party content, contracts, availability, privacy practices or transaction performance. Your dealings with third parties are governed by the terms and policies that apply to them.
Disclaimers

Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cyprus Motors & Marine will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, goodwill, opportunity, data or anticipated savings arising from use of the platform. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law so requires.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the platform, investigate misuse, comply with law, enforce these terms, or respond to security concerns.
Changes to the platform or these terms
We may update the platform and these terms from time to time. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised terms, except where applicable law requires a different notice or consent process.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that may apply under the law of your habitual residence.
